serve the rest of the guest house for leisure, relaxation and reflection along with good food experiences. Being a guest in our rooms grants you the access to all of our guest house facilities. You are welcome to enjoy the indoor common areas: the TV lounge, bar, library, sitting room, terrace and outdoor barbecue. The compound is fully fenced and located in a quiet neighborhood in Cerritos close to Pereira. We have a lovely large garden with a diverse population of birds and every morning during your breakfast you can enjoy watching the hummingbirds just outside the windows. There is no room service card, but we are available all time if you should require something any time during your stay. Fine dining and high level cuisine is a question of attitude and embracing the experience of only having to enjoy the food and wine. El Lugar offers to combine the finest traditions of Colombia with high cuisine for example by starting an event with a coffee tasting performed by a barista from the region followed with fusion dinner where coffee is integrated in every dish in a variety of intensity and flavor. This can also be done with fruit tastings. El Lugar strongly believes that the best raw materials are the right foundation for a good culinary experience. We will use fresh fish and shellfish from the coast; supply the best beef available, use poultry, pork and lamb from local producers and fresh fruits and vegetables from the region. This we will do with enthusiasm and respect for the products which we will prepare with love and soul to provide you the ultimate culinary choices and the experience of recognizing different flavors and elements in the dishes. El Lugar offers a wide range of culinary services. From advanced fusion cuisine over traditional international and local cuisine to buffets and gourmet tapas menus with 5-8 courses.
