BoulangerieNanda Three years ago December 16, 2008, Boulangerie Nanda began to bake her first loaf of bread. We have come a long way.

Bakery was born out of my personal passion and mission to bake healthy hearty artisanal bread in Beijing. Thanks to everyone's support and encouragement, we look forward to our next chapter in new location.

Dear Friends, after such a long wait, bakery is finally moving on September 26. We give ourselves a three-day down time to make the move. Quite a logistic nightmare to manage.

麵包房研發成績報告. 推出以下新品: 田園法棍, 田園小核桃法棍, 歐式核桃洋蔥餐球,法國麥穗芥秣籽培根麵包,軟式雜糧核桃餐包(迎合孩童及老人家口味). 都是24小時的低溫老肥手工捏搓出來的....周五恢復營業, 就要看消費者給我們的評分了!

糕點部門的成績不理想...跟培訓做義大利式的雜糧薄麵包和雜糧核桃餐包的時間嚴重衝突...訓練糕點部門的小姑娘們去做麵包, 難度比我想像的高. 兩種完全不同的烘焙技術啊!

Report Card on our R & D. We are gonna roll out Pain d'Epi w/mustard seed & bacon (yum!), Rustic Baguette, Rustic Baguette w/Walnut, Rustic Walnut & Onion Roll (to die for) and a softer crust Multi-Grain Walnut Bun. No new products from pastry department as I'm also training them to learn how to bake Focaccia and softer buns. Pastry and Bread are really two different animals!

According to Lunar Calendar, we've entering Fall season. Peaches, Hawthorn are in the seasons. Better get ready to make some jams for thumbprint cookies.
立秋了! 桃子,山楂開始豐收了.得趕緊準備做果醬,用在麵包房很受歡迎的小餅乾上. 又得忙了....
