I really like the cap. On it is written, in French and Flemish, "Beer makes Unity". It's a reference to our Belgian national motto "Unity makes Strength".

Chimay Blue Grande Réserve Oak Aged 2015 Gulden Draak Brewmasters Edition 2015 Orval Trappist

1. Chimay Blue Grande Réserve Oak Aged 2015
from Trappist Monastery of Chimay

Newest creation... but an homage to an ancestral method of ageing Chimay Blue in wooden barrels.
This ageing method provides the Chimay Grande Réserve with exceptional flavours and a complex taste. Although the beer retains its dark colour, the head is more refined and lighter. This vintage beer has a woody aroma with a few mild notes of vanilla, pear and apricot.
This first batch is exclusively produced in 15,000 bottles. It has fermented in new oak casks for nearly 6 months. It has therefore acquired a beautiful dark colour over time and has become a well-balanced product.

2. Gulden Draak Brewmasters Edition 2015

Their brewmaster, Jef Versele, crafted this exclusive Gulden Draak Brewmasters Edition as a tribute to his grandfather Jozef Van Steenberge and the 230th birthday of the brewery. His inspiration came from his numerous trips to the United States and his deepest respect for the craft beer culture. This exclusive Gulden Draak combines the technology and the craftsmenship of the traditional brewing process. By letting the beer mature on whiskey barrels it gives it a distinctive and gental finish that you have never tasted before.

3. Orval Trappist Beer

In contrast to all the others, the Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste.

Beer Mania just introduced 4 NEW Belgian Beers from VIVEN Brewery

Viven Blond
Style: Blond
ABV: 6.1%
Color: Medium Blond
Viven Blond is made by the unique recipe of it’s inventor W***y De Lobel. The blond Viven pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head. This beer has a fruity and spicy aromas. Perfect beer for a hot day or as an aperitif.

Viven Brown
Style: Belgian Dubbel
ABV: 7.5%
Color: Brown
Viven Dark pours a dark amber body with a beige creamy head that leaves a nice lacing. This beers has a great aroma of raisins, caramel and flowery hops. Medium-full body with a pleasant carbonation. With a taste of sweet malt, dark fruit and sweet bitter finish, this beer is goes very well with strong cheese and meat.

Viven Porter
Style: Porter
ABV: 7.0%
Color: Porter
Viven Porter is a smoked porter at 7.0%. This is the first commercially smoked porter brewed in Belgium. This beer pours a creamy and brown colored foam. It taste sweet, smoked malt, raisins-dried fruit and coffee. Great beer to enjoy with friends.

Viven Master IPA
Style: IPA
ABV: 7.0%
Color: Medium Blond
Viven Master IPA pours a clear golden orange color with a big white head. This beer has a great aroma of grapefruit, peach and orange. This IPA has a grapefruit and citrus taste with a good carbonation. Slightly bitter on the finish. Great beer to enjoy all day. It goes very well with salads, light cheeses and chicken.
