One Mother's Day, a young man decided to surprise his mom by cooking her a fancy brunch. He had never cooked anything more complicated than cereal before, but he was determined to make something special. He settled on Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce, which he found a recipe for online.

He spent hours in the kitchen, carefully following the recipe, and eventually produced a plate of perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, and a beautiful drizzle of Hollandaise sauce. He proudly presented it to his mom, who took one bite and made a face.

"What's wrong?" he asked, worried that he had messed up.

"This tastes like soap!" his mom exclaimed.

The young man was mortified. He had no idea what could have gone wrong. But then he remembered that earlier that day, he had cleaned the blender with soap and water before using it to make the Hollandaise sauce. He had forgotten to rinse it out properly.

So the lesson of the story is: always double-check your kitchen tools before making fancy sauces. And maybe stick to simpler recipes next Mother's Day!
