What a summer. What a season.

It was hot, sunny, intense, beautiful and filled with more special moments than we could ever fit into one post.

Some of you discovered our little paradise for the very first time. Others returned to a place that already feels a little like home.

We celebrated weddings, birthdays, parties, family gatherings and unforgettable evenings by the lake. We welcomed guests from near and far, shared countless sunsets and created memories together.

And that is what makes us most proud: Baumgarten is more than a hotel. It’s a place where memories are made.

And to our team: thank you for your energy, your smiles, the long days, the extra steps and for putting so much heart into this season. 💛 You are what brings this place to life.

Some of the best memories are made around one table. 🤍

This summer, we had the pleasure of being part of so many special moments at Lake Lucerne.

From company dinners and weddings to birthdays, family celebrations and evenings that simply deserved to be celebrated. 🥂✨

Thank you to everyone who chose Seehotel Baumgarten for a moment that mattered. Thank you for your trust, your stories and for letting us be a small part of your memories. It truly means a lot to us. 💛

And make sure you swipe all the way to the last photo… 👀 It might just be our favourite evening atmosphere and one of the most beautiful table settings of the entire summer. 🌅✨

When the pinboard is officially full… you know the restaurant is full 😅📋

Our checklists have taken over the kitchen, the service area and pretty much every available bit of wall space.

September is giving us one last proper challenge before the end of the season. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💪🏼

Team events, birthdays, celebrations and special dinners… there’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now.

And while those checklists might look slightly intimidating 😉, every single one means that someone has chosen to spend a special moment with us.
Thank you for trusting us with your celebrations. 🤍

Now… back to those checklists. 😄

Still wondering why Lake Lucerne should be on your bucket list? 👀🇨🇭

Here are four places that might answer that question.

🏔️ Mount Pilatus
For breathtaking mountain views and that true Swiss Alps feeling.

🏙️ Lucerne
Charming old town streets, the iconic Chapel Bridge and plenty of Swiss history.

🚤 Boat tour on Lake Lucerne
Because this region might be even more beautiful when you discover it from the water.

🥾 Felsenweg at Bürgenstock
A spectacular walk high above the lake with views you won’t forget.

Explore Central Switzerland. Come home to Lake Lucerne. ✨

No city noise. No crowds. Just nature, water and time to actually switch off. ☀

Hidden between the mountains and Lake Lucerne, you’ll find a little place where mornings are slower, the lake is right at your doorstep and sunsets become your evening plans.

16/09/2026

Maybe you don’t need more plans. Maybe you just need a place to slow down.

Tucked under the rustic wooden roof of our Chalet, time seems to move a little slower.

Morning coffee on the balcony.
Watching the boats pass by.
Reading a few pages.
Or simply sitting there, doing absolutely nothing and looking out over Lake Lucerne. 🌊

Sometimes, that’s all you need.

New season, new haircut. ✂️🌳😉

Our terrace trees just got their autumn trim and suddenly there’s a little more sunshine making its way through. ☀️

Perfect timing, because we’re definitely not ready to give up on those last warm summer days by Lake Lucerne just yet.

Turns out, happiness doesn’t need much. 🤍 Just a stay in the swiss moutains. 😉

Some places give you a view. Others give you a moment to think. 🤍

This is our Ankerplatz: A little spot on top of our boathouse, surrounded by Lake Lucerne and the mountains. For us, it might just be the most beautiful place at Baumgarten. A place to slow down, breathe and let your thoughts wander. 🌊

And we would love you to leave a little piece of yours here.

Grab a pen and open our Hafenbuch. Write a greeting, a thought, a story, a memory… whatever comes to mind. No rules. Just you, the view and a few quiet minutes.
