The Kilt & Castle will not participate in the GNWT plan to implement apartheid in the Northwest territories. We will not be implementing any rules that discriminate based on race, religion, political affiliation or private medical status or conditions. As the owner I personally find it morally reprehensible and refuse to participate in any such discriminatory practices, even if the government uses its weapons to try to force small business owners to go against their own common morality. It is a violation of basic human dignity. Period. We all have a right to participate in our community.

The GNWT is trying to bribe bars and restaurants to implement their apartheid system by giving them a competitive advantage for being a political ally. They are also threatening to punish any business who does not implement discriminatory practices with a severe capacity limit. Any business who is willing to treat a fellow Canadian as a subhuman underclass should be called out for it.
