Connor is back with one of our newest favourite games: Mind The Lines!

A drawing game for people who can't draw; each player draws their prompt using the lines on their game board. Then, guess who drew what amongst all the prompts plus some imposters!

Check it out at ATB for a good laugh!

Meet Rachael, one of our Game Experts at Across the Board!
At work they’re usually learning a new game, or running one of our Um Actually trivia nights!

Rachael’s favourite part of working here is when they know they’ve helped our guests find the perfect game. Teaching a game then five minutes later hearing thunderous laughter from the table? There’s nothing better! 😄

Her current favourite game? Horrified 👹
Her drink of choice? Iced Matcha Latte 🌿

We will be CLOSED until 5pm tomorrow September 30th in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation Day. 🧡

From 5-10pm 50% of every gaming fee will be donated to Ka Ni Kanichihk, an indigenous-led organization supporting children, youth, and families through culturally-based childcare, life skills training, and education-focused initiatives here in the Exchange District!

Across the Board is grateful to exist on Treaty 1 Territory, the homeland of the Red River Métis, and the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, and Dakota Oyate peoples.

Meet Steffi, one of our longest standing Game Experts at Across the Board!
When she’s at work she’s usually teaching a table Abalone, grabbing things off the shelves no one else can reach, or running one of our spooky Blood on the Clocktower nights! She also once boxed in Fight for Charity! That’s not relevant, I just think it’s really cool! 🥊

Steffi’s favourite part of her job is the people! ☺️ “We have the best staff and we have the best customers!” She likes that people of all ages come in looking for a good time with friends or family, or getting to know a potentially special someone! Either way, the vibe is chill and easy going and we have a game for everyone!

Her current favourite game? Watergate
Her drink of choice? London Fog
