This was close, DAMN close. Ty’s Takeout had the lead for the longest time, but Munchees Pizza came back swinging and took the lead. Congratulations to this rounds winner!

If you haven’t had Ty’s yet, I highly recommend you do, their pizza burger is absolutely deadly, I had one when I was up that way fly fishing. It’s awfully convenient they’re attached to a dispensary. I call that smart business! The owner is just a young fella, I’m not sure how young but he don’t look old enough to shave yet, but by ordering your grub from there you’re supporting a young entrepreneur, I’d like to see his business succeed for many years to come, once they build a fan base I really feel that they’ll be a finalist in future competitions.

That said! Be sure to check out Munchees in Florence! They’re a classic Northside shop, my old man would tell me about kitchen parties back in the day, they’d send someone out for Munchees all the way from North Sydney (which has no shortage of pizza) like immortal Joe sending his war rig to Gastown in mad max. So make sure you take the opportunity to give them a try!

Tys take out is a relatively new shop! Call it good business sense but they share the building with a dispensary…that just makes sense.

Munchees is a beloved classic in Florence with a dedicated fan base!
