Every experience can be a learning experience. Rest assured, this was a one-time event that I have zero intention of doing at this scale again. Admittedly, we way over engineered the audio for this. It wasn't our goal to broadcast for the neighbourhood, but this is how we learned the limitations of our space in the woods.
Would we do something like this again?
Not outside. Not like this. And probably not for a very, very long while.
Unless Woodie Guthrie comes back to the mortal coil for a one-time show north of 60.
Was it worth it?
The event itself helped us rebuild our stock to address frequent low stock issues, those who joined us were able to have a good time, and I learned a LOT of lessons in event planning.
I want to extend many thanks to those that came out, those that gave us patience, and those that supported us during this experiment.
In the meantime, we promise the rest of the summer will be spent doing what we do best; making incredible burgers, pizzas, cozy vibes, and catering to the long-distance motorcycle adventurer.
If anybody absolutely feels the need to get their displeasure off their chest at me, the grill is on, the bar is stocked, and the doors are open.
Come have a pizza.
