This year's lineup for Poutine Fest!

During the week of September 6th to September 12th, stop by any of these participating locations to try their spin on a poutine. $2 (or $3 at one of them) from every poutine sold will be donated to the Recovery Support Centre at the Aberdeen Hospital. This Centre helps people with Mental Health and Addiction Services.

📸 Get your cameras warmed up. It's about time for the next photography contest!

☀The theme: Summer Vibes
🗓 Photos submissions are due by August 28th at Noon. Online voting will happen over that weekend and end on August 31st at Noon. Please send to [email protected]

Full contest details:

☀ Prizes:
1st place: $50 gift certificate
2nd place: $30 gift certificate
3rd place: $20 gift certificate

☀ Contest Guidelines:
1. Photos must be taken within the Town of Westville.
2. Photos must be captured within the duration of the contest (August 17-28, 2026)
3. You may have a maximum of 5 photo submissions.
4. Moderate digital adjustment (colour correction, cropping, sharpening, etc.) is acceptable, but any image with a watermark or signature will be automatically disqualified.
5. Photos that capture personal property are acceptable, however, photos that capture public areas i.e., trails, buildings, public activities, Acadia Park, etc. are preferable.
6. Photos of people will need to be submitted with written consent from those in the photo.
7. Any photo submission may be published on the Westville Recreation page.
8. Submissions must be sent to [email protected] by Friday, August 17th at 12:00pm. Facebook voting will take place over that weekend, ending on Monday, August 31st at Noon. The winner will be announced that afternoon!
9. Prizes will go to the three photographers who receive the most "likes" on their photos. If a photographer receives the highest amount of "likes" on multiple photos, the prize will go to the next photographer with the next highest amount of likes. No photographer will win more than once for each photography contest.
10. The winning photo will become the new Westville Recreation Facebook cover photo!
