Hi Everyone!

I know it has been way to long since my last post. I look forward to seeing you at The Country Kitchen Restaurant soon.

I have some news.
For many who may not know..I sold the bakery as of March 1st.

I know it may be a shock to many lol...

I am excited to see what the future holds and you can come visit us at The Country Kitchen Restaurant in Westport Ontario.

We have been open since Aug and we are keeping busy for sure! Growing more and more each week.

We are located at 72 Bedford St. (across from The Beer Store).

We offer all day breakfast and lunch and a variety of snacks and desserts;)
Eat-in or take out available.

Having downsized from 3 business to one will take some adjustment on my part, but I look forward to continuing to share many great Home-cooked meals at our full service restaurant with an outdoor patio and our ever growing grab'n go menu and more.

Our catering and special event division is still available.

I also hope to be able to take a bit more time with my family and slow down a bit in life.

We are open currently 7 days a week. Mon to Wed 7am to 2pm amd Thurs to Sun 7am to 3pm.

Summer hours will be posted towards mid June.

We also take reservations. Please feel free to call for take out or to discuss catering or your special event

Here we go again...It is another snow day at the bakeshop today! Be safe everyone! We will reopen tomorrow after the storm watch ends and all is cleaned up! Sorry for any inconvience. The Country Kitchen will be open today. Baked goods and sit in or takeout meals available.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our customers for your support over the last year!

I know it has been a wild few years for many of us.

In review 2022;

We have sold over 375k tarts now.

We came in 4th in Ontario for the best buttertart! We sold over 10k tarts in less than 6.5 hrs in Midland, Ont this past June.

We also participated in our first Maplefest in Perth, On and sold over 2500 by 200pm!

We added donuts to our menu, and you let us know you love them!

Our Maple Crunch is one of the favorites!!

We launched a 4 day long cookie fundraiser to help raise funds for the RedCross in support of the Ukrainian efforts.
We sold out and made more, raising over 1000.00.

We shut down during our busiest time to provide over 300 meals and snacks a day to a film crew! That was an experience.

We have made hundreds and hundreds of squares, pies, cookies,various baked goods, and sandwiches.

We launched our hot and cold meal take out section and so much more.

We have met so many wonderful people from all over.

I have enjoyed getting to know so many of you, and for that, I will always be grateful.

We could not have done this without you, our loyal and dedicated customers, old and new!

To my amazing staff. Thank you for all you do! Enjoy a few days off as we launch our new winter hours, allowing us to all catch our breath and recharge before the big rush starts again.

New Melting Moments' winter hours means we will be closed Mon to Wed for the month of January.

We will be open from Thurs to Sun 9 to 3 the rest of the week to serve our customers.

The Country Kitchen has been a staple for years in Westport.

Our new business and it's menu have been welcomed with open arms. Thank you to all our regular and new customers we meet or see on a daily basis.
We love how you enjoy your all-day breakfast and home cooked meals and take out.

Country Kitchen will be open 7 days week 7 to 2 Mon to Wed and 7 to 3 Thurs-Sun.

There you can pick up our famous buttertarts and baked goods and breads. They offer take out and sit in dining.
Come check us out. We look forward to serving you there, too.

Good morning.. What a storm! Due to the unsafe and wild weather, our bakery will be closed today.

Any orders that are scheduled for pick up can be picked up at *The Country Kitchen restaurant until 130pm today only.

We are disappointed but want to ensure our customers and staff stay safe.

We thank you for understanding and also for the amazing support we have received from everyone the past year.
We are so grateful as we continue to grow and serve so many within our community and visitors from near and far.

We wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you again when we reopen regular hours on Dec 29th. 9am to 3pm.

UPDATE, WE ARE OPEN AND ;WE HAVE POWER...Despite the snowy weather for today Fri Dec 16th the Country Kitchen will be open at 7am.

Any orders that were due to be picked up at Melting Moments bakery can be picked up at The Country Kitchen.

Please know, though, that Melting Moments Bakery will be closed today Fri Dec 16 due to the winter storm.

Stay safe and if you do venture out Countey Kitchen will be open.
