Today was a reminder that reconciliation is found everywhere the intent is pure. It's found in doing, sharing, listening and showing up for one another.

Seeing Indigenous people and allies share together all day meant a lot to us.

To everyone who shared, learned, remembered or simply made an effort today...

We see you.

Every effort matters. Every conversation matters.

Tomorrow, we aren't running a sale.
Tomorrow, we aren't just carrying on.
Tomorrow, we aren't just sitting back.

In recognition of the NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION, we're doing what we can to bring awareness.

We'd love you to join us.

1. All profits will be donated to Walpole Island First Nation Residential School Survivors Group.

2. Customers can also donate towards feeding someone in our community, and we'll match the first 20 meals donated.

3. When you stop in, leave a message on our Orange Shirt Wall. It could be anything. What this day means to you, what you're doing to recognize it, a note to a friend, a note to us.

Take a moment on your lunch to come join us remembering the children who never came home, the Survivors who did, and the families who continue to carry their stories.

Tomorrow isn't about just remembering.
Tomorrow is about honouring in spirit.

Miigwech!
