Canadian pianist and musicologist Carson Becke holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford. He has performed widely across Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean as a soloist, chamber musician, and vocal collaborator.
Carson is co-director of Pontiac Enchanté, a concert series in Luskville, Quebec, known for innovative programming and strong environmental sustainability. He is also an active composer, arranger, and champion of lesser-known late-Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire. His two albums of Richard Strauss’s piano music and lieder (with Wallis Giunta) are available on streaming platforms. He performs regularly with Duo Octavian (two pianos) and has collaborated with many leading artists including Jack Liebeck, the Ironwood Quartet, and others. https://www.carsonbecke.com/

Le pianiste et musicologue canadien Carson Becke est titulaire d’un doctorat de l’université d’Oxford. Il s’est produit partout au Canada, en Europe, en Australie, en Nouvelle-Zélande et dans les Caraïbes en tant que soliste, chambriste et accompagnateur vocal.
Carson est codirecteur de Pontiac Enchanté, une série de concerts à Luskville, au Québec, réputée pour sa programmation innovante et son engagement fort en faveur de la durabilité environnementale. Il est également un compositeur et arrangeur actif, ainsi qu’un fervent défenseur du répertoire méconnu de la fin de l’époque romantique et du début du XXe siècle. Ses deux albums consacrés à la musique pour piano et aux lieder de Richard Strauss (avec Wallis Giunta) sont disponibles sur les plateformes de streaming.
