The Barn
the Barn was established February 2010 and was completely redone. All the outside walls or the barn are insulated to keep it warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. We have new windows in the barn as well which will be open every summer. A washing machine is on site for washing barn towels and wraps. We have a large tack room up stairs and saddle racks can be supplied if needed. We a

lso have a coffee pot and microwave in the barn for those long cold days. There will always be access to both hot and cold water. The Paddocks
We have have four grass paddocks for summer and all horses will have access to grass all summer long. as well we have one mud field for winter and are currently constructing a second mud field. The fencing is currently electric fencing but with time the fencing with consist of wood with one electric rope at the top board. The Stalls
each stall is newly constructed and the floor is rubber matted. We will supply each stall with both a water pale and feed pale if you need them. I bed with wood shavings but if you would like straw you may supply your own. Rakota Ridge would like to welcome Eddie to our family! He is our newest addition to our personal group of horses. He’s a retired Amish horse who will have his forever home here with us. He already fits in well with the herd and is such a good boy and so willing. He’s gotten used to our group of horses and fits in quite well.

Father’s Day was full of work for us on the farm this year! Got our first cut hay done! A total of 1,484 bales! Great quality, green, no rain, and smells amazing! Jake and I want to wish a big thank you goes out to Howard for cutting, raking and baling my hay for me! Another big thank you to Brock, Christina DeGagne, Becky, Terri LeBlanc, Bill, Bailey, and Colby for helping us move all the hay! Greatly appreciate all your help!
And a special thank you to my dad for also helping all day and continuing to finish the final clean up of the driveway while I was at work today!
I’ve got a great barn family and I appreciate all of you!
