National Day for Truth and Reconciliation matters deeply to us, and we’ve heard the concerns about staff uniform expectations at Irish Times Pub. We take them seriously.
Victoria Pub Company has a longstanding policy that staff wear their regular uniforms while working.
For National Day for Truth and Reconciliation,
we encouraged our team to add orange to their black T-shirts in whatever way felt meaningful to them.
No staff members were sent home.
As we clarify our uniform expectations, we invite every member of our team to share their thoughts. As always, we welcome their ideas on how we can continue to respect and honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, along with other important dates with deep meaning, in the years ahead.
Our staff are at the heart of who we are, and their opinions will always help shape how we mark these days together.
