This week’s Break Even Bottle is Lagavulin 8 Year. An Islay classic with soft notes of milk chocolate and lemon on the nose, followed by tea-scented smoke and a touch of the sea. Light in texture but unmistakably Lagavulin, with a sweet, smoky warmth and a long, clean finish.

This week’s Break Even Bottle is The Nectar 16 Year Old. On the nose you’ll find baked brioche, toasted almond, vanilla pudding and baked apricot with hints of chestnuts and chocolate. The palate brings warm spices, vanilla crème and raisin bread, followed by a long finish of lemon rind and honeycomb.
