Anh and Chi is a vibrant, cultured and hip hub to eat, drink and connect. It represents the countless brothers and sisters, across several generations, who their share talent, passion, and a vision for Vietnamese fare. Our mom grew up in my grandma’s café, which was a space for people to gather, eat and express themselves. Her café played pre-1975 Nhac Vang music – songs of peace, prosperity and freedom – which were then banned throughout the country. All of community came. Fast forward 40 years, our family’s recipes have reached beyond Saigon and into Seattle and Vancouver. Our vision is to continue to share Vietnamese cooking and culture with our greater community – our brothers and sisters. Our uncle once said, “No matter where we are in Vietnam, we are all from the same mother.” It’s never been truer, regardless of where we are in the world. We have certainly have felt this way growing up in BC. It’s our turn to share with you the rich history and promising future of Vietnamese hospitality, food and culture.

To our incredible team — thank you for showing up, pushing forward, and putting so much heart into every plate. This recognition belongs to you just as much as it belongs to us. ❤️

To our guests, friends, neighbours, suppliers and the entire Vancouver hospitality community — thank you for letting us share our Vietnamese food and culture with you. Your support means more than we can put into words.

Closed during lunch for Family Day 💚
We will be open from 5-10PM

Anh and Chi will be closed for lunch TODAY, September 29 for our team to come together and celebrate monthly successes, take time to deep clean our restaurant, and enjoy a family meal together.

We will be re-open for dinner service at 5 PM. See you later today!

Hủ Tiếu Trộn — Tossed Glass Noodles

Glass noodles with chives, Chinese celery, quail egg & crispy chicken crackling, all coated in our house-made savoury soy sauce and served with a side of chicken broth.

Choose your topping: prawn + grilled pork or organic tofu + shiitake mushrooms.

And just like that, summer is a wrap ☀️

Car Free Day was the perfect way to send it off — sunny streets, full tables, good food, cold drinks, and so many familiar faces.

Big love to everyone who came out and made the day what it was, and to our crews at Anh & Chi, Good Thief and Mẹ’s by Anh and Chi for making it all happen 🫶

We’ll miss summer, but there’s still plenty of good times to be had at Anh & Chi. Come hang with us!

SUNDAY DISCO 🕺🏽🪩

Mulita pisco • Akvavit • Sour peach • Cilantro • Tonic • Spicy Dill

I love cilantro.
I love it on banh mi. I love it on fried rice.
I love it on hot dog.
It does not taste like soap to me it simply taste GOOD 👍🏻

One day I said:
what about a cilantro gin n tonic 🤨
Then someone said what if we ditch the gin and swap in a base of pisco. Then someone else said hey let’s add a lil bit of akvavit and really play up that dill by making a tincture with birds eye chili and fresh dill. Mix in some acid adjusted peach, lift it with tonic, load the whole thing up with cilantro and boom there’s a Sunday Disco. 🪩🪩

You got about 6 weeks to enjoy before she is gone - best get movin 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
