BREAKING: TACO TUESDAY LEADS TO HISTORIC PRODUCTIVITY LOSS
City officials* have confirmed that all work will grind to a halt today because every taco at Taco Loma is 20% off. (*City officials = Joe yelling from the prep room.)

This isn’t some “limited time, fine print” situation — it’s an all dayer. Chorizo Taco Mami, Pork Belly Chicharrón, even that Cauliflower one that Kurtis swears is “life-changing”.

Come get your tacos. Or don’t. But if you skip 20% off Taco Tuesday, we’ll assume you hate joy, flavor, and probably puppies.

Dear Diary,
 Today Dallas showed up on a skateboard whispering “crunch wrap” like it’s a prayer. Chef’s wearing sunglasses in doors again which means he’s either hungover or deep in burrito innovation mode. Either way, we’re hanging on by a tortilla over here.

But even in the chaos, there’s light. There’s the HOLY LOMA combo.

This is a meal built for shared hunger, mutual respect, and double-fisting Jarritos on a sunny curbside patio. We made it for besties, dates, duos, and anyone who refers to themselves in the third person while ordering extra salsa.

Kurtis tried to rename it “Power Couple Platter,” and Joe keeps insisting it’s “The Double Trouble Dealie.” We’re ignoring both of them. Just ask for the The HOLY LOMA Combo, or point at the board and grunt. We’ll understand.

I was just trying to eat lunch. Mindin’ my business on the patio. Holding a Smoked Cauliflower Taco in one hand, a lukewarm Topo Chico in the other. Then it happened.

A beam of light. A seismic shift. A voice (mine) whispering: “Wow, this is awesome.”

That’s when I knew. Taco Tuesday isn’t just an event, it’s a vibe. According to new data from the Loma Research Council (me, again), eating a taco on a patio boosts serotonin by 240%, makes you funnier, and may cure seasonal depression.*

Last week was our grand opening. I slept a total of 4 hours, drank 11 Jarritos, and hallucinated a talking taco who told me my life had purpose. His name was Gary. He had jalapeño eyebrows. I trust him.

And somehow, through the chaos and the melted queso dreams, YOU ALL SHOWED UP. You lined up. You cheered. You inhaled tacos like four raccoons in a trench coat at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
