The PropHouse Cafe was concieved and started on the dream of keeping Arts & Culture alive for the middle to low income artists in the City of Vancouver and The West Coast of North America. A community cafe that supports all nationalities of people, from young children to senior citizens. A creative space for artists, writers, poets, photographers, film-makers, musicians and much much more. We have free WiFi for Social Innovation and Social Media that is so much of where our creativity is heading these days. The cafe's staff is mostly young musicians and songwriters that are learning others trades in the service industry. We understand that Music Therapy can help to Promote Wellness, Manage Stress, Alleviate Pain, Express Feelings, Enhance Memory, Improve Communication and Promote Physical Rehabillitation. For this reason, the cafe has many musical instruments that it keeps out in the open for musicians to play, including a 1957 Heintzman Piano that was bought at the Woodwards Store in downtown Vancouver. We also like to play old school Vinyl Records, and have at least 2000 to choose from. Music - The other non-addictive, mood altering non-substance, Ask your Doctor if music is right for you - Common side effects include but are not limited to uncontrolled head bobbing, toe tapping, finger snapping, selective hearing impairment and persistent melody flashbacks. We hope that you will help to support us too, and will drop by for something to drink and/or eat. We shop daily for fresh food ingredients, and try our best to make healthy food to feed your healthy mind. We serve a variety of fresh and healthy food, and believe we have the BEST VEGGIE BURGER in the WORLD ! - and you can build it the way you like it.
