An autumn wedding at VanDusen Botanical Garden with sunshine, beautiful colours and the loveliest couple.

We were so happy to be part of L & B’s wedding and to share in such a special day. It was a pleasure getting to know them throughout the planning process, and even more so to celebrate with them when the day finally arrived.

Wishing L & B a lifetime of happiness together. 🤍

A new season brings different ingredients, different flavours and a little more comfort to the menu.

Our kitchen is leaning into the season with dishes that are warm, generous and comforting, while still keeping things refined.

A little look at what’s coming out of our kitchen lately, and the people who bring it all together.

No “vegetarian option.”

Just a dish everyone wanted.

For P & Z’s wedding at the UBC Boathouse, the menu called for an appetizer that could work for everyone at the table. Vegetable & Coconut Bisque was the answer — rich, comforting and full of flavour.

The rest of the menu followed with the same idea: thoughtful dishes, different choices, and a dinner that felt cohesive from beginning to end.

A look at the room, the menu and a beautiful evening.

For a guest, choosing between three entrées feels simple. Behind the scenes, serving multiple options takes careful coordination, timing and attention to every detail.

For this recent wedding at VanDusen Botanical Garden , nearly 100 guests enjoyed a plated dinner with three entrée options, including a vegetarian option. Each plate had to be finished at the right moment, with the right details, and make its way to the right guest.

Here, Franco, our Chef de Partie, puts the finishing touches on a plate just before service.

A glimpse at the precision and teamwork that goes into every plated dinner.

Preet & Zack at the UBC Boathouse

A beautiful waterfront celebration, made even more special by the people gathered around the table. We loved being part of their wedding day and creating a menu for such a joyful occasion.

Congratulations, Preet & Zack!

You may have already spotted Nick Harvey behind the scenes in our kitchen.

He first joined Truffles in 2021, and today, he’s helping shape what comes next as our Culinary Director.

With experience across Montreal and Vancouver—and a strong understanding of our kitchen, our team and the way we work—Nick brings both fresh ideas and a familiar face to this new chapter at Truffles.

We’re excited to have him leading the way.
