W**e Wednesday at Maenam

As the evenings grow cooler and autumn settles over the city, there is no better time to gather around a warm table. Every Wednesday evening, we offer a curated selection of bottles at half their regular price. This week, we are pleased to feature the “Gold Label” Chardonnay/Pinot Sparkling Brut 2020 from Blue Mountain W**ery in Okanagan Falls, BC.

Crafted in the traditional method from 100% estate-grown, hand-harvested grapes, it opens with a fine mousse, lemon and toasty notes, and a crisp, citrus finish.

We recommend it alongside our Hokkaido Scallop Laab Cupcake, where its bright acidity lifts the lime and toasted rice, or our Hot and Sour Soup of BC Halibut, a warming bowl of young lemongrass, galangal, and bird’s eye chili, where the wine’s fresh, lively bubbles balance the gentle heat.

Tonight, enjoy it at $40 per bottle (regularly $80, taxes not included).

Maenam will be closed on Monday, October 12, and will reopen on Tuesday, October 13, for dinner from 5:00 to 9:30 PM.

We are honoured to once again be recognized by the MICHELIN Guide in 2026. This recognition belongs to everyone who makes Maenam what it is: our kitchen and service team, our farmers, fishers, and suppliers in British Columbia and Thailand, and most of all, our guests.

Every Wednesday evening, we offer a curated selection of bottles at half their regular price. This week, we are pleased to feature the Orofino “Reserve” Syrah 2021 from the Similkameen Valley, BC.

Expect notes of violets, black cherries, white pepper, and wild Similkameen scrub, carried by a bright, lively acidity. Its peppery depth pairs beautifully with our Khua Kling Beef, made with Prairie Ranchers sirloin cap and green peppercorn, or the slow-braised Massaman Lamb Shank Curry.

This Wednesday, enjoy it at $45 per bottle (regularly $90, taxes not included).

Grateful to share that Maenam has been recognized as a MICHELIN Guide Recommended restaurant for 2026, once again.

This honour belongs to our entire team. To every cook, server, and member of our Maenam family who brings care and discipline to the floor and the kitchen every day, thank you. You are the reason this recognition continues year after year.

To our guests, thank you for trusting us with your tables and your time, and for supporting Thai cuisine done with integrity. Your loyalty carries us forward.

It was an honour to celebrate alongside Vancouver’s finest at the 2026 Michelin Guide ceremony, including Sumibiyaki Arashi (炭火焼きアラシ Sumibiyaki Arashi, Chef Pete Ho Peter Ho) and Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar (Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, Chef Roger Ma Roger Ma). Congratulations also to our Kitsilano neighbour, AnnaLena, on an extraordinary promotion to two stars.

Vancouver’s dining scene continues to prove it belongs on the world stage. Congratulations to everyone honoured this year.
