Okay Vancouver… we’re slowly getting the hang of this storefront thing!

TBH…It still feels a little surreal seeing croissants coming out of OUR kitchen, rather than the commissary. And then handing them over to people who have been following this little journey since the farmers market days, is just the cherry on top!

If you’ve been meaning to stop by, here’s when and where you’ll find us:

Someone pinch me… it’s already been TWO WEEKS!!!!

Two weeks since we opened our doors.
Two weeks since we started baking in this little kitchen.
Two weeks since the space I’ve had in my head for so long finally started becoming real.

And honestly? It still feels a little surreal.

I’ll be real with you. As a small business that is completely bootstrapping this journey, my goal was simply to do just enough to open our doors and get baking.

There’s still so much I want to do with this space. I have a whole vision for it… warm, cozy, bright, welcoming. A place where you walk in and instantly feel a little bit at home.

We’re not there yet. We’re building it slowly, one little piece at a time.

But until then, I really hope our croissants can give you a little bit of that feeling. ❤️

Because behind every croissant, every early morning, every sold-out day and every tiny thing we’re adding to this space… there’s a whole lot of love, hope and a slightly sleep-deprived baker trying to make this dream work.

Two weeks down. So much more to build.

Okay, like me if you grew up eating Parle-G dipped in chai… you NEED to try this one.

Because tell me I’m not the only one who thinks Parle-G just tastes better after a little dip in hot masala chai. 😂

Not too much. Just enough for the biscuit to get soft around the edges… while you frantically get it into your mouth before it falls into the cup. 😅

That little moment of nostalgia is exactly what we were trying to capture with our Chai & Cookies Croissant.

It’s buttery, flaky and tastes like Parle-G dipped in masala chai — except now that favorite snack has somehow found itself inside a French croissant. 😂

And honestly? We’re pretty obsessed with how it turned out.

It’s our feature croissant for the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl , happening until October 4!

Just kidding! 😂 About the “calling” part.

Seriously though… don’t call me. Email me. 😂

And then wait for 5 days for me to respond!

But call me if it’s urgent!

I’m a highly stimulated, slightly sleep-deprived, mom with a new-ish baby & a preschooler, running a pastry business AND opening our first storefront sometime this month.

So if I don’t answer your call… it’s not personal. There’s probably a baby, a croissant, or a construction crisis happening simultaneously. 🫠🥐

BUT… there is one thing I can promise you:

You can still get your croissants.🥐

A little reminder for the week ahead: eat well, rest when you need to, trust your intuition, and don’t take life too seriously.

Some days are for salads. Some days are for a buttery croissant. And here’s the truth…both can coexist. Right?

And sometimes happiness really is just coffee, good company, and a flaky pastry in your hands.
