We welcomed 2020 with a smile on our faces and were met with many difficult situations and tough choices to make. COVID-19 has taken many things from us all, but it has also allowed us chances to learn and be compassionate.

As we step into the year 2021, self-care should be at the top of our new years resolutions. Although it is different for everyone, it can always begin with a few core practices: meditation, good healthy food, community, exercise and maintaining sleep routines.

Let 2021 be a year where we incite change in ourselves and take control of our lives. Meditating or exercising for just a few minutes every day, having healthy food on our plates, and making meaningful connections in our communities.

Many important movements were at the front of our minds this year. For us, the Farmers protests taking place in India and the support rallies taking place all over the world hit closest to home.

If you have food on your table, thank a farmer. We need to support them in this time. Ensure that they are able to continue to earn for themselves and their families, and work to produce the food that ends up on our plates.

Its time the corporate world understands the power in the solidarity of the farmers who have been wronged for ages.

Our heart goes out to them- elders and the young- who have been protesting at the Delhi borders for weeks. May the new year bring them good news and good fortune.
