👑From the Queen

🎉Brava to these seven and all those out there being badass!

"Who are the seven baddest women in the world
In the landscape of high cuisine, only seven women in the world have reached the absolute summit: the three MICHELIN stars. Seven different personalities, united by the same vision: that of a kitchen that speaks of identity, culture and creative freedom.
From France to Slovenia, from the UK to Spain, each of them has redefined gastronomic excellence with their own identity.

Happy birthday, Julia Child! Born in 1912, the famous chef, author, and television personality made French cuisine accessible to American audiences. Child was one of the first women to host her own cooking show on television, providing tips and lessons on how to prepare French food simply and easily.

Her cooking show, "The French Chef," was based on her now-classic 1961 cookbook "Mastering the Art of French Cooking," and aired on PBS for a decade. The show brought Child national and international recognition, and she would go on to win a Peabody and Emmy Award for the program.

Child also established organizations to inspire others to share her love of food and to expand people’s awareness of cooking. She co-founded the American Institute of Wine and Food in 1981, and created the Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and Culinary Arts in 1995.
