WHEN THE HOSPITALITY STARS ALIGN
Every day we do our best to set the stage for a special experience for our guests. We prepare the food for top quality and efficient delivery. We set the mood of the room with a carefully chosen playlist, the perfect lighting, and an army of smiles. Even beyond that, we had originally created our menus and interior design to evoke a feeling that we excitedly mulled over sleepless nights with great detail. Details that speak to the inspiration, culture and story that we created for every individual restaurant. Every little step does its part to bring us to a stage that prepares us to give the best experience that we can. And everyday we are blessed to create so many great custom experiences in all of our restaurants that we hope leave a lasting happy impression on our guests. And then sometimes, it feels like every single star aligns! And the most beautiful, spontaneous experience just explodes from what seems out of nowhere. The energy takes on a life of its own. It takes control over everyone involved with an unexplainable joy; it feels effortless; it feels magical! And we all instinctively ride the wave together… it’s just beautiful. We had one of those nights at Makilala recently. The food and team were on point. Every table was already having their own great time. There were accomplishments to celebrate and be proud of. Love, friendship and camaraderie was in the air…
And then we dropped the karaoke… and the entire room became one❤️❤️❤️

A love story that began on an elephant in Thailand and grew into one of Canada’s most influential restaurant empires.

Join Chef Nuit Regular and her husband and business partner, Jeff Regular, as they travel from Toronto to Oliver Farms for the 2026 Asian Fire Feast.

Born and raised in Phrae, Northern Thailand, Nuit learned to cook alongside her mother before training as a nurse and meeting Jeff. After moving to Canada, the couple built a wildly successful family of restaurants, including PAI, Kiin, Sukhothai, Chaiyo, Thai Tavern and Makilala.

Through her Michelin Guide-recommended restaurants and bestselling cookbook, Kiin, Nuit has become one of the country’s leading champions of regional Thai cuisine. Jeff, who proudly calls himself “Nuit’s husband,” is the Filipino-Canadian restaurateur and creative force behind their hospitality empire and Makilala, a deeply personal celebration of his family’s recipes, culture and joyful barangay spirit.

Featuring:
🔥 Joël Watanabe — Kissa Tanto, Bao Bei & Meo

What a weekend. 🇹🇭❤️
Thai Fest reminded us of something we’ve always believed: food is so much more than what’s on the plate. It’s a way of sharing who we are.
To see so many of you come together—to eat, drink, play, dance, laugh, and experience Thai culture with such openness and joy—meant more to us than we can put into words.
At PAI and Thai Tavern, what we love most has always been simple: serving good food and bringing people together. This weekend, we got to watch that happen all around us. From plates being passed across tables and cold Singha enjoyed in the Thai Tavern B**r Garden, to dancing, games, conversations and discovering a little more about Thailand—these are the moments that stay with us. ✨
Thank you for showing up. Thank you for celebrating with us. Thank you for loving PAI, Thai Tavern, and the culture that inspires everything we do. And most of all, thank you for loving Thailand. 🇹🇭
A huge thank you to DoorDash Canada and singha for helping bring the Thai Tavern B**r Garden to life, and to Tourism Authority of Thailand for giving Chef Nuit the opportunity to take the stage and share a piece of Thailand through her cooking. 🍜❤️
Until next time, Toronto. 🙏🇹🇭

MISSISSAUGA, WE’RE COMING HOME! 💜
Before PAI, Mississauga was where Chef Nuit and I began our life together in Canada. Now, after years of hearing, “When are you coming west?”—we finally have an answer.
PAI is coming to SQUARE ONE this fall. ✨
We can’t wait to bring our Northern Thai flavours, warm hospitality, and a little piece of PAI to the community that was part of our story from the very beginning.
See you soon, Mississauga! Stay tuned for more details. 🫶🏻
