STAFF APPECIATION POST
It's been a while since we did one of these, and we're excited for this one. Nicole joined our team last year and we really love watching her grow. She enjoys taking on new challenges, and we are excited to keep teaching her more. Nicole had little experience in the kitchen/cafe world and is now making you some of your favourite meals!

What's your favourite coffee/tea drink at the shop?
I love a latte with cinnamon syrup or a dirty chai latte! Hot or iced, depending on the weather!
What's your favourite alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink at the shop?
Our strawberry lemonade is so refreshing for the summer season
What's your favourite pie flavour?
Pecan pie always and forever
What's your favourite menu item?
Coffee cake!
What inspired you to join our team?
I'm always looking for a place I can thrive creatively and be surrounded by a good community and that's exactly what TCWK offers. Jenn and Nika's kindness and attention to detail shine through the shop and team!!
Outside of work, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy?
Digital and traditional art, crochet, linocutting, videogames and I've been learning to play the drums!! I'm also alwayssss exploring new music and collecting vinyls, CDs and going to LOTS of concerts
What's one fun fact about yourself that our customers might be surprised to learn?
I'm working on an original full length comic!

cats, concerts, thrifting
What's your favorite memory or moment from your time working here?
Probably our secret Santa staff party!! It's always nice to have the whole team together, especially when we yell at eachother while playing overcooked or mario kart hehe
