Dear Valued Customers,

As the owners and chefs of hanamaru market and bento, my wife and I would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support over the past four years. This journey has been incredible, filled with joy, hard work, and the pleasure of serving you delicious meals. Your loyalty has meant the world to us.

 
Today, we have some heartfelt news to share. My wife is expecting, and we are overjoyed to welcome a new addition to our family in June. As we prepare for this beautiful new chapter, we have decided to focus on our family and take a step back from the business for the next one to two years. 

We understand this may come as a surprise, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. To ensure we can still serve you while balancing our family commitments, we will adjust our business hours starting March 4th, 2025. Our new hours will be:

 
- Market: Tue - Sat (11:00 am to 6:00 pm)

- Restaurant: Tue - Thurs (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)
                     Fri - Sat (11:00 am to 5:30 pm)

Thank you once again for your incredible support and understanding during this time of transition. We look forward to continuing to serve you and can’t wait to welcome you all back to hanamaru market and bento.

"Restaurant Lunch Closure Notice" From Nov. 26. 2024 Tuesday.

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you that our restaurant will be closed for lunch due to a temporary shortage of staff. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our market will continue to operate as usual, offering express bento, onigiri and rolls available for grab-and-go. Customers can also place orders for these items through Uber Eats for your convenience. Please note that these items are available only during lunch hours and in limited quantities.

Our restaurant will reopen for dinner from 3 PM to 8 PM, with the last call at 7:30 PM.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

To. Customers.

Sadly, the chef has to quickly return to his hometown due to news of his grandmother's critical health condition.

Hence, starting from July 1st until July 15th, Hanamaru will have modified opening hours.

My parents came to Canada for the first time after COVID-19.
I want to make a little memory with my parents before they go back to Korea next week.
I'll be back after a short trip on
