WHY do I care to make a whole podcast like this centred on this one topic?

Because this would be something I'd find valuable as an operator in the GTA, if I was struggling to find out why business was getting harder and harder to keep going.

Mega shoutout to Jacky Li from DoorDash Canada for helping us bring this to life.

Excited. Hopeful. Ready.

What's a way to win while operating for 2 different cultures?

How I define success has changed over the years.

Every time we go "viral" or have some sort of publication feature our little family business, it should feel like success.... Right?

That couldn't be further from the truth.

It's nice and all of course (I can't complain), but deep satisfaction and fulfillment come from knowing everything you do is in complete alignment with your beliefs and values.

Do you feel happy?
Are your challenges ones that you gladly welcome into your life?
Are you proud of the way you spend your days — not just what those days eventually produce?

Would you choose this life all over again?

In our sit down with Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 , we talked about what it was like for immigrant parents to operate food businesses as part of a family's livelihood.

They gave us everything so we could do anything 💛

It's so easy to take for granted the journey that got us here.

My parents bought Great Fountain in 2015 as a way to get us kids through university. This is not a story that is unique to us. Thousands of immigrant parents start from ground zero and would do anything for their kids.

Great Fountain is my way of giving back to my mom and dad.

Every win, I owe it to my parents 💛

Officially August but I'm mentally preparing for December already 😂😭

IF YOU ENJOY WHAT WE DO we would love for you to leave your 5 stars on Google Reviews, Door dash, Uber Eats, or anything else you find us on!! It means a lot to us as a small family operated business so the time you take to do so goes a long way 🙏

LOVE YALL. SEE YOU SUNDAY TOMORROW IN SCARBOROUGH 🔥
