From the flickering warmth of the copper fireplace, to the hand-adzed beams, to meticulous table settings, all these details reflect the artistry at the centre of the experience. The menu.

Each ingredient in every dish arrives with its story intact and is transformed with precision and reverence. The cuisine at The Pointe is not only stunning but also tastes of exactly where you are: the forest, the tide, the season unfolding outside your window.

Checking into one our Chesterman Beach Loft Suites feels a lot like arriving home.

When you first walk in on the main floor, you'll find a comfortable living area that remains light-filled even on stormier mornings due to the large picture windows and private balcony, both of which offer stunning views of Chesterman Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

You'll see an elegant dining space perfect for a relaxed breakfast to fuel up before exploring the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve or to enjoy in-room dining or takeout from one of Tofino's excellent local spots like Surfside Grill after all that exploration. In case the room is too good to leave, especially on a classic rainy Tofino day, there's also a fully equipped kitchen. Our Concierge will even stock the fridge and pantry just to your liking prior to your arrival.

Upstairs, the king bedroom offers a quiet place to unwind. The spacious en-suite bathroom has heated floors, a separate glass-enclosed shower, and a deep double soaking tub - both with expansive views of Chesterman Beach, of course.

A new exhibition by Vancouver artist Elizabeth Austin will be featured in the Henry Nolla Gallery from July 8 through September 8.

Elizabeth is a passionate visual artist whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty of the West Coast landscape. Living on the coast has fostered a profound appreciation for the region's iconic sea stacks, expansive beaches, and ever-changing natural environment.

Careful observation of the landscape with its intricate details, shifting light, and dramatic shadows all continually inspire her creative process. While she works primarily in acrylic, Elizabeth also turns to oils and watercolours to capture her vision.

Lonely Planet recently released a list of some of the best beaches in the world, with Chesterman Beach coming in seventh.

We’re fortunate to be located along this stretch of coastline near Tofino, especially as this was the only Canadian beach recognized on the list.

Make sure to keep the binoculars in your guestroom handy throughout your stay to get a closer look at these magnificent birds🦅

Fun fact: Bald eagles make some of the largest nests compared to other birds. Their nests can get up to 8 feet across and weigh nearly 2 tons.
