All in flow...
Its been an exciting adventure over the last 3 years, with lots of learning and growing. We’ve seen many of our dreams come into fruition as seen through the many elements of Earth Mama Love Kitchen Collective- the cafe, catering/concession, workshops, festival vending, etc...
Each year, we’ve taken a time out to vision what we want to bring in and what might need to be shifted in order to make space for energy to flow more smoothly in the business and our personal lives.
Our feminine approach to business has us operating in ways outside of the norm. We choose everyday to stay in the flow to what our hearts and spirits are calling us to focus on as we smash any and all patriarchal systems that hold us back from staying true to ourselves. We have come to realize that we need to reclaim the balance of the masculine and feminine energies within our business model - and with this we must be willing to release what no longer serves us so we may birth new creativity. Following the path of least resistance so we can stay in the flow of our hearts.
This year we have decided that in order for energy to flow to the places that are aligned with our personal and collective visions, we will be letting go of operating the Cafe element of the kitchen collective. It has been a privilege and honour to serve the Tofino community in this way for the last three years, yet it is simply not sustainable for us to keep up with at this time (yet we never know what the future will bring!).
We have recognized that it was taking a lot of energy to run this one component, which hasn’t allowed us the space to give to the other elements that we find joy in. We have also recognized that while it was great making food for people at the cafe - time, energy and resources are limited in this structure - and that we are being called to make a bigger impact to a wider community.
We want to empower people to create healthy, soul & earth nourishing kitchen creations, for themselves! Part of how we will be doing this is by creating online videos focused on creating simple and nourishing food . We’ve just wrapped up filming a mini series of videos that we’re excited to share and has stoked us up on creating more content to build our very own youtube channel - so that anyone, anywhere, can learn how we work our magic in the kitchen. We will also be focusing on hosting workshops, cooking retreats to teach these skills in person (to you!) and developing a full cookbook!
We will still be producing items for retail purchase at Green soul organics - juices, treats, frozen items (soups, veggies burgers, desserts, etc), granola, self care products (and more!). We will also still be available for catering, concession, vending and workshops! We are so grateful for your continued support as we grow and these changes unfold.
