These croissants have been selling out every day, which is absolutely wild to me, so thank you! 🥹

Due to a staffing shortage, our family café will be closed today, Tuesday, June 9th.

Even the coffee tried to clock in, but unfortunately it doesn't know how to run the till.

We're looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy working with customers, preparing food, and being part of a hardworking team.

Living and working on Haida Gwaii offers a unique lifestyle—beautiful beaches, incredible wildlife, a strong sense of community, and a slower pace of life that's hard to find elsewhere.

We know housing can be challenging on Haida Gwaii. While we do not currently have permanent staff housing available, we are actively working on accommodation options and may be able to assist with temporary housing arrangements for the right candidate.

Experience is welcome but not required. Reliability, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

Hello everyone… time for another announcement 😅

Due to our shipment that was supposed to arrive Monday — but got delayed thanks to crazy wind and ocean swells having a personal feud with the ferry schedule 🌊🌬️📦 — we need one more day to get everything unpacked and organized properly.

Rather than opening half ready and pretending we know where anything is, we’re taking one extra day to finish everything up the right way 😂

So Seas the Day Family Café & Country Store will officially be opening on Friday, May 29th 💙

Thank you all for the patience, support, and understanding while we wrestle boxes and battle Mother Nature.

Just a heads up to all our amazing customers — we’ll be closed Monday through Wednesday, May 25–27, while we take a little time to refresh and reorganize a few things. 👀

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there! 🌸

Today we’re celebrating the women who somehow manage to be chefs, therapists, chauffeurs, teachers, event planners, and superheroes… often all before noon. 💐

We also wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our new business so far. Whether you’ve shared a post, made a purchase, stopped by, recommended us to a friend, or simply cheered us on — we truly appreciate every bit of it more than you know. ❤️

And to everyone who joined us for breakfast with their families today, we truly hope you enjoyed your meals, your time together, and made some wonderful Mother’s Day memories with us. Nothing makes us happier than seeing families gathered around good food and good company. ☕🍳💕
