🚘 One truck. One generous community. 400 meals! 🥫

DeGroot Hill Chevrolet Buick GMC in Tillsonburg put their truck to good use with their Stuff a Truck Food Drive, and the results speak for themselves!

Thanks to their efforts and everyone who contributed, 400 meals will make their way to neighbours right here in our community.

We love seeing local businesses turn a great idea into something that makes a real difference. Thank you to the entire DeGroot Hill team and everyone who helped fill that truck! ❤️

🎨 A beautiful gift of time and talent! ❤️

A few months ago, we reached out to Tabitha, Executive Director & Curator at Station Arts, simply asking if she might know someone who could help us create a mural for the food bank and she stepped up in a BIG way.

Tabitha spent more than 20 hours creating this incredible mural for us and generously donated every single hour of her time. We are so grateful for the care, creativity and talent she poured into making our space a little brighter and more welcoming.

A huge thank you as well to My Paint & Decor for helping us with the paint and colour selections that brought the whole project together.

We are incredibly lucky to have community partners who show up for us in such creative and generous ways. Thank you, Tabitha — we absolutely love it! ❤️🎨

And if you haven’t already, be sure to check out Tabitha Verbuyst , Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre, and the incredible work of our local artists. Supporting local arts and the talented people behind them helps keep creativity thriving in our community!

This award recognizes the dedication and years of service volunteers give to their organizations and communities, and we couldn’t think of four more deserving people. ❤️

Two of our recipients were able to attend the ceremony and are pictured here celebrating this well-earned recognition!

🍂 We Need Volunteers! 🚐

As we head into our busy fall and winter season, we’re looking for a few more helping hands!

Our biggest need: Tuesday mornings at 8:00 a.m. to join another volunteer for local grocery store donation pickups using our food bank van.

Can’t do Tuesdays? We have other volunteer roles available too!

❤️ Ready to help your community?
