Thank you for taking the time to read.
This is the Post no Business wants to make. Especially a Small Local Business that has been around for over a Decade.
We are lucky to have made it this far.
We have made it through some big obstacles.
Unfortunately Flying Fish had Closed.
During the Roundabout Construction we had a huge reduced amount of Traffic.
Of course we can't forget the huge negative impact of Covid.
Despite our Beautiful Location, many had forgot we we're tucked into Skeena Landing.
We were passionate of serving Fresh Made Food. Soups from Scratch, Fresh Baked Goods such as Muffins, our Foccacia for Paninis and Sweet Treats.
We avoided Frozen Premade Foods. Although we all love some Good Burgers and Greasy Fries, we wanted to provide the Community with Fresh Foods.
Classic Sandwiches, Wraps, Paninis, Salads, and Fresh Espresso based Speciatly Drinks.
It's always hard to hear that a Small Business is Closing.
Especially when you don't know the struggles they might have had to endure.
Then it comes to the End that they need to announce their Closure.
Some may have wished they knew to prevent another loss of a Local Business.
It truly is unfortunate watching Businesses Close because of the struggles that are hidden.
All that being said. We would like to invite you all for our last month of operation.
Last chance to try all your favorites!
Or get a chance to try our Menu if you haven't already!
Also to Celebrate Denise's well deserved Retirement!
We will miss all the new faces that were excited to find our hidden gem.
We will miss all of Loyal Regulars that we've had to privilege of catching up with, Celebrating important Moments and watching some of the Kids growing up.
We will also miss our Memories that we have made here as a Family. From Holidays, to Big Announcements and Birthdays.
Myself, Paige has worked here since the Original opening of Cafe Zesta by Petra and Bernise. It was suppose to be a Temporary Position. Would I have believed if someone told me that I'd be a Co-Owner and running the place with my Gma (Denise)? Absolutely not!
What more is there to be said?
It's not always easy running a Business.
All I can take from it is that despite the ending we had a really good run!
We will miss our Customers. Always being so kind, the rave of compliments of our food. Now looking back, I would never be able to find the number of meals that we have made for everyone over 12 years.
We would like to take this chance to give a huge thanks to everyone in the Community that has continually supported us over the years!
Be sure to always support the Small Guys!
