Alright Thursday... bring it on. 🌿

Two days off.

Two days of everyone apparently having to survive without us.

Now it's time to pay for our crimes.

The tropicals are back to running the greenhouses like they own the place.

The mums are still enjoying their VIP status.

The perennials have not forgotten their 20% OFF situation.

And Saucy Apple is standing by, ready to destroy whatever self-control survived the last two days.

So...

Bring on the tourists.
Bring on the locals.
Bring on the "I was only coming in for one thing."

We've had our two days.

We're ready.

No particular destination.

No great plan.

Just follow the road, take the turn you haven't taken before, and see what you find.

You might find a greenhouse full of tropicals with entirely too much self-confidence.

Mums out front, already behaving like they're famous.

Perennials still muttering about their recent demotion.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, Saucy Apple quietly ruining everyone's perfectly respectable intentions with something sweet.

Monday is our Friday.

We're still meeting people who live on the Island and have never been to JD'S before.

Honestly.

Where have you people been? 😂

Meanwhile, the Garden Witch has made her decision:

Perennials are 20% OFF.

No committee meeting.
No appeals process.
The Witch has spoken.

The mums remain out front, soaking up their new-found VIP status and showing off the tiniest bits of colour like they've accomplished something extraordinary.

The perennials are pretending not to care.

They're lying.

And Saucy Apple?

Still committing a daily disgrace against everyone's attempts at eating sensibly.

Fresh baking, sweet treats and food...

Because apparently plants weren't enough temptation for one location.

The perennials have been moved back out back.

They are not taking it well.

Not one bit.

The mums have taken over the front, and they're already acting like VIPs—even though most of them are still standing around with tiny little hints of colour.

They're budding.

They're important.

They know it!

The perennials would like everyone to know they were here first.

But nobody is listening.

Meanwhile, Saucy Apple is just doing what Saucy Apple does...

Feeding people and quietly wrecking every ounce of resistance people had left when it comes to sweet treats.

And somehow, we've made it all the way to Saturday.

The plants have been busy while nobody was looking. 🌿

The tropicals still continue to behave as though they own the place.

The perennials are out front, looking far too pleased with themselves for plants that don't pay rent.

And now the mums have arrived.

Some are even budding.

Which means fall is lurking....

We are not discussing this further. 🍂

Meanwhile, Saucy Apple continues doing whatever it does over there... feeding people, baking things, and generally making sensible decisions a little harder than they need to be.

Just another day around here!

Thursday is creeping up... and the plants have opinions. 🌿

The tropicals continue to behave as though they own the place, while the perennials have taken up position out front and are quietly judging everyone who walks past.

Nobody seems particularly interested in correcting them.

Over at Saucy Apple, the butter tarts have been test driven.

A few have already mysteriously vanished.

The official verdict?

They're good.

Further investigation is obviously required!

Meanwhile, there's food, baking, fresh produce and all the other things that tend to happen when JD'S and Saucy Apple are left unsupervised.

There’s a little corner of the Island where the road gets quieter, the greenhouses get greener, and things tend to get slightly out of hand. 🌿

The tourists wander in wondering what they've found.

The repeat offenders walk in like they've been here before.

Because they have.

The plants are everywhere, doing what plants do best—looking innocent while taking over.

And somewhere nearby, Saucy Apple is feeding people who were absolutely not planning on staying for lunch.

Nobody seems particularly concerned about how any of this happened.

Which is probably for the best.

So if you're passing through, live here, or simply have a suspicious amount of time to wander around...

So... what exactly is going on at JD'S? 🌿

Honestly, it's getting a little out of hand.

The tropicals are hiding in the greenhouse.

The perennials have finally escaped to the front and are now greeting people before we do!

The trees and shrubs are still 30% OFF. The Garden Witch wants them gone. She's done watering.

Pottery and decor items have arrived for those who came in looking for something they absolutely didn't need.

And now there's fresh produce.

Because clearly, plants, pottery and baking weren't enough.

Saucy Apple is still quietly sabotaging good intentions from the other side of the building.

Come for a plant.

Leave wondering how you ended up with lunch.

It's becoming a tradition.

Just the usual nonsense!

🪴 The tropicals are still showing off.

🌳 The trees and shrubs are still 30% OFF, because apparently they haven't found their forever homes yet.

🌸 The annuals are doing their best to look irresistible.

🌹 The perennials are standing around pretending they don't need anyone's attention.

And Saucy Apple is quietly sabotaging everyone's willpower with homemade food, fresh baking, preserves, and treats that mysteriously disappear when nobody is looking.

So if you happen to be wandering around tomorrow...
