We would like to remind everyone that bullying, harassment, intimidation, or disrespectful behaviour toward Takla Trading Post staff WILL NOT be tolerated.

Our staff are human beings first. They have feelings, families, responsibilities, and challenges just like everyone else. They come to work each day to serve our community and do the best they can.

We understand that frustrations happen and that there may be times when you are unhappy with a situation or decision. We are always willing to listen to concerns and work toward a solution. However, there is a difference between expressing a concern and taking your frustration out on an employee.

Please speak to our staff with the same kindness and respect that you would want for yourself or someone you care about.

When situations cross the line into bullying, harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour, they will be documented and reported when necessary.

We appreciate the many people in our community who continue to treat our team with kindness and respect.

Our staff are here to help. They are also human, and they deserve to be treated that way. ❤️

It's official takla ran us out of cash back! We will have more cash coming up tomorrow for derby tickets & cashback.

Store will be opening at 9am tomorrow we will be receiving our delivery order in the morning instead. We will be closed from 7-9 am. So we can get our order done and ready for everyone 😁

Good morning, Takla Nation members! ☀️

To better support families during funeral and potlatch planning, the Takla Trading Post has introduced a new Weekend Opening Request Form.

This form will help us keep all requests organized, ensure we have the appropriate staff scheduled, and most importantly, make sure we are opening at the times that best meet the wishes and needs of each family.

Our goal is to make this process as smooth and stress-free as possible during an already difficult time. We are committed to supporting our community and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this new process.

If your family requires weekend access to the Takla Trading Post for a funeral or potlatch, please complete the request form as early as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements.
