Yesterday, May 21, marked a monumental occasion in our journey . Himalayan Cricket Club officially played its very first match in BCMCL under the Himalayan Banner.

This was more than just a cricket game. This was the beginning of a vision, a community, and a club built through passion, sacrifice, friendship, and belief.

After being restricted to a low total of 115, many would have counted us out early. But our boys showed heart, grit, and fight till the very end. We pushed Surrey Warriors hard to the point where they needed 14 runs with only 2 wickets remaining and made them work for every single run. Despite the loss, HCC left a strong impression on the field with energy, discipline, and never-give-up spirit.

Special congratulations to Marshal Baral for an outstanding spell with the ball with 4 wickets. An absolute champion performance under pressure. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘

Huge respect as well to every single player who battled out there today and represented the badge with pride. The scoreboard only tells part of the story. The character, fight, and resilience shown today say much more about what this club is becoming.

A very special thank you to our Shekhar Neupane Realtor for coming to the ground and supporting the boys. Support like that means everything when building something from the ground up. ๐Ÿ™

For the first time ever, HCC will be competing in the BCMCL Division 2 T20 League starting May 2026! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are looking for passionate players from the Nepali community across the Greater Vancouver area who are interested in playing leather ball cricket. Whether youโ€™re an experienced cricketer or someone wanting to learn and develop your game, we welcome you to join us.
