Risk Tournament with The Casual Social!

Sunday, October 18 at 1, The Casual Social and Jura's Kitchen presents Risk at Rusty Wrench Brewing Company!

Players face off for 2 hours, trying to conquer the world! The rules are as described in the official rule book to keep thing simple.

If the game is not complete by the end of the gaming time a photo is taken of the board, and each country Players control, then reset for the following Sunday until there is a winner.

Envelopes and containers will be available for people to store their cards and pieces.

If there are more players than colours, a second board will be introduced and Players will be split between the boards. Novelty or theme boards are encouraged.

Let me know in the comments if you're coming.

I will be collecting donations for the Royal Canadian Legion - Strathroy Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116 but no donation is required to play.

At Jura's Kitchen our crown jewel is the Pot Pie.

Served in hot crock, and capped with a dome of puff pastry, our classic pot pie feeds your soul. The cooking process causes the steam to be trapped until the second you break the crust - then a puff of delicious home cooked aroma hit you in a cloud of steam. The texture, use of herbs, and the experience of eating the dish are often mentioned by satisfied diners.

If comfort food is for dinner, we have you covered. Come on down and try it out.

We just heard the good news about our friends at the Royal Canadian Legion - Strathroy Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116. Their members and the veterans have stopped by and supported us and we want the world to know they're doing GREAT right now! You should check them out.

As a congratulations, we're giving Strathroy's veterans a 5% break on their bill, and that will stay the deal for as long as the Legion stands.

What a Difference 90 Days Can Make! 🇨🇦

We're incredibly proud of what Strathroy Legion Branch 116 has accomplished over the past 90 days, and it's all thanks to the support of our amazing members, volunteers, veterans, and community.

Here's what we've achieved together:

📣 39,000 people reached
❤️ 14,000 engagements
👥 289 new followers
📈 Our Facebook community has grown by 51%, from 564 to 852 followers!

These numbers represent much more than social media success. They mean more people are learning about the Royal Canadian Legion, discovering the programs and events we offer, supporting our veterans, and becoming part of our Branch 116 community.

Every like, comment, share, volunteer hour, event attended, and photo contributed has helped us tell our story. Together, we're showing that the Legion is a vibrant, welcoming place that continues to make a difference.

To everyone who has supported us over the past 90 days—thank you. We're excited to keep building on this momentum and sharing even more with you in the months ahead.

Here's to the next milestone, together!
