We are looking to add a qualified PSW or Recreation Therapist to our team.

Over 90% of our clients have dementia. We are wanting someone who ideally has experience in this field of work, has a kind, patient, and welcoming personality and open to coaching and future training opportunities to increase their toolkit for working with this demographic.

Our ideal Candidate would process:
- The ability to work and problem solve independently
- A safe and reliable vehicle
- A clean vulnerable sector police check
- CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Someone who enjoys engaging clients in activities
- Someone who is reliable and ideally lives local to Stratford

The position we are hiring for is a Monday - Friday day shift, if wanting full-time after the probation period we have a benefits option. You would have the same clients scheduled every week to allow you to get to know them and their routine. Majority of our clients are located in Stratford, Ontario.

Yesterday was fun, checking out the farm to you exhibit at the fair and then our lunch group met at the Bru Garden for one last outside lunch of 2026

Our lovely volunteer Sophie came up with this craft for our group today and everyone really enjoyed it. We also played Music Bingo from the 70’s and that was a hit! One participant asked if we could play again some time

Almost every week we have an entertainer coming in to sing for the group - singing the songs they know and love.

This is a great way to get out of the house during these upcoming colder days.

We will be hosting a fundraiser Christmas Market in Embro on November 14th, we are looking for vendors if you know of anyone that would be interested.

All money raised will be going toward subsidizing Memorable Connections programs for the New Year Jan - May

Thank you so much to Montana's BBQ for sponsoring our lunch outing group!

Every Friday we take a group of seniors with dementia out to a different restaurant. Sponsorships like this allow us to keep the cost low for the participants. The outing includes pick up and drop off and their lunch - it is one of our most popular programs

Montana’s lunch menu is one of our favourites - it’s the perfect size and the price is fantastic.

We can’t wait to come back!

Our social media has been a bit quiet because things have been busy- in a good way

Our fall / winter programs have begun! This past Tuesday the group made apple crisp to send home 🍎 🍏

We have applied for a couple of grants and will hopefully get some news in the next couple of weeks

Last week we had Conn come and sing for our group. We’ve made an edit to our afternoon program it’ll be 1:30-3:30 Thursdays and only $25 / session HST included in price - we have 3 spots left.

Memorable Moments
We have been getting a lot of calls with the weather starting to change. This is a great time to get someone in for home care services even just once a week for a check in and some companionship because winter is hard on everyone
