As we close Palgong Tea's doors for one last time, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what this place truly became over the years. When we started, we hoped to build a welcoming spot, but what emerged was something far more meaningful, a community with a heartbeat, a place where people connected, created memories, and found comfort in familiar faces.
It’s impossible to count the moments that made this place special. The early mornings when regulars greeted us while the sun came up. The afternoons filled with quiet focus or laughter shared between friends. The evenings when conversations lingered long after closing time. Each moment held a certain kind of magic one that only a community can create.
The truth is, Palgong🧋was never just our story. It was all of ours, woven together by countless little interactions that built something bigger than any of us imagined. And while it is difficult to close this chapter, we do so with a heart full of gratitude for every single person who ever walked through our doors. You gave this place meaning. You gave it life.
But endings, even the bittersweet ones, make room for beginnings. And this is not the end of our journey. We’ve been working on our next step. What’s coming is born from everything we learned here at Palgong, every smile, every challenge, every moment that shaped us.
