Way to go Brenda! Congratulations!

On June 25th, the St. John’s International Airport Authority is excited to once again join airports across the country to celebrate Airport Workers Day – a day of recognition for the incredible people who keep our airport moving.

Leading up to this day, we will be celebrating and thanking members of the YYT community.

We're starting this week by featuring Brenda Sainsbury, Manager of YellowBelly Brewery & Public House team at YYT.

Brenda has been part of the YellowBelly team since it opened in 2018, and is now also a familiar face on the O’Reilly’s Irish Newfoundland Pub team. Following a 30-year career in government, she wasn’t ready to slow down and found a new passion in the fast-paced, customer-focused airport environment.

Brenda is known for her supportive leadership and takes pride in mentoring her team. While she’s welcomed many notable guests over the years, one of her favourite moments was spotting Sass Jordan dining in the restaurant the day after attending her concert.
