Valleycliffe Euchre Club starts at 6:30 pm, and everyone’s welcome. Come on your own or bring a friend. We’ll help you find a table and get settled in.

A little bit of everything at The Backyard this week.

Monday brings half-price kids’ meals, the milkshake menu, and the Squamish Netball Social from 7–9 pm. Come meet the crew and some of the people getting involved.

Tuesday is $5 off all burgers, half-price bottles of w**e, and Darts League from 6:30 pm. Shane Fry is back with trivia Wednesday at 7:30 pm.

On Thursday, local taps are $6 and Valleycliffe Euchre Club starts at 6 pm. Friday’s special is $10 Dentville ginger b**r cocktails.

Brunch runs 11 am–2 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with $6 Steamworks taps on Saturday. Then Ella Matheson joins us for free live music Sunday from 5–8 pm. Settle in for dinner and stay a while.

Riverbank Roses are back at The Backyard today at 6pm for their last gig for a little while.

They’re stepping back from performing to spend some time recording, writing and working on new music, so this is your last chance to catch them live before they disappear into the studio for a bit.

As always, live music at The Backyard is free.

Come grab some dinner, settle in and make it part of your Sunday.

It must be fall because the Sunday Roast is returning to The Backyard October 11th.

We'll be offering beef, turkey, or vegiterian bratwurst served on a bed of mashed potatos, in our signiture giant Yorkshire pudding and topped with gravy

Not only that but we'll be accompanying every Sunday Roast service with free live music from local artists. We're honestly just trying our best to make it worth leaving the house during the 8 month rainy window.

The AFL Grand Final is on this Friday night, and we’ll be staying open late to show it live at The Backyard.

Fremantle take on Brisbane, with a pretty good story on both sides. Fremantle are chasing the first premiership in club history, while Brisbane are looking to make it three in a row.

We’ll have the build-up on from 9pm, with first bounce at 9:30pm, across the big screens with the sound on.

Today is Kyla’s last shift at The Backyard, and we’re really sad about it.

Since joining the team, Kyla has made great food and become such a big part of what makes this place feel like The Backyard. We’ll miss the drawings she leaves on receipts and takeout boxes to brighten someone’s day. We’ll miss how completely unflappable she is, even when the kitchen is at its busiest. Mostly, we’ll miss having her around.

Kyla is moving to Montreal to keep chasing her culinary and personal dreams. We’re very, very sad to see her go, but we can’t wait to see what she does next. She has nerves of steel, a heart of gold, and a way of making the people around her feel cared for.

Good luck, Kyla. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to our team and our community. We’re going to miss you.

Another full week at The Backyard.

Monday is for the families, with half-price kids’ meals and our milkshake menu.

The Valleycliffe Darts League takes over Tuesday from 6:30pm, alongside $5 off all burgers and half-price bottles of w**e.

Trivia with Shane Fry is back Wednesday at 7:30pm, then the Valleycliffe Euchre Club gets together Thursday at 6pm, with local taps pouring for $6 all day.

Heading into the weekend, we’ve got $10 Dentville Ginger B**r cocktails on Friday, followed by brunch from 11am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

We’ll finish the week with Riverbank Roses playing a free live show on Sunday from 6pm to 8pm. No tickets needed, just come down and enjoy some live music in the neighbourhood.
