📣Takeover announcement📣

The rumours are true! As of March 25, 2026 we have purchased the Steakhouse on Main. We will be re-opening in April under a new name Casablanca on Main with a new menu of Moroccan and international cuisine. Our menu will be uploaded to our social media soon so be sure to check it out!

We also wanted to take a moment to thank Ami and Hanna for all their love and support. They have been a staple of this community for 10 years and we look forward to having them stay in town as our new landlords.

After many years of serving the Smithers community, the time has come for us to say goodbye to Steakhouse on Main.

This restaurant has been part of Smithers for many years, and when we took it over 10 years ago, it was truly an honor to continue its story. Over the years, these walls have witnessed so many memories — family dinners, celebrations, laughter with friends, first dates, anniversaries, and everyday moments shared over a good meal.

To our amazing customers and our incredible staff, past and present — thank you. Your support, kindness, and loyalty have meant more to us than words can express.

Steakhouse on Main has always been more than just a restaurant. It has been a place where the community came together, and we feel so grateful to have been part of so many of your memories.

Our last day will be tomorrow, March 23rd, 2026.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Smithers for the love and support over the years. This place, and this community, will always hold a special place in our hearts.
