We wanted to share the whirlwind news that Scotty’s Dog Shack has been officially sold.

There truly aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to this amazing community. Over the years—and especially this past year—you have wrapped us in love, kindness, and unwavering support. Every customer, vendor, passerby, and local business has touched our hearts in ways we will never forget.

We don’t want to waffle on, but we feel it’s important to say how much this community meant to Scott. He was so proud to be a part of it and always found joy in serving and connecting with all of you.

As we close this chapter, we hope you’ll join us for the last bit of true Keanie magic at Scotty’s Dog Shack. Our last days of service will be tomorrow Dec 27th and Saturday the 28th.

Once Scotty’s Dog Shack reopens in the new year it will be under new ownership. We wish them all the luck and success going forward.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Scotty’s Dog Shack is officially for sale.

This summer, we have worked hard to keep the shack open in honor of Scott, allowing his legacy to live on for one final season. As a family, we feel it's time to begin moving forward and to privately process the huge loss of Scott.

We are incredibly grateful to our community for the unwavering support over the last 5 years. To all the schools, businesses, and customers we’ve had the privilege of serving — thank you for being a part of Scotty’s Dog Shack.

A heartfelt thank you to Scott’s sister, Chris, who stepped up when the rest of us simply couldn’t. Scott would have been so proud of you and the entire crew — you’ve all done an amazing job!

Until the time comes, we will continue to make Scott proud by serving you all the best hot dogs around!
