Part two, electric boogaloo!
Sometimes we forget that our ACTUAL first physical location was in the back of Unite by The Makers Keep in Kingsway Mall. Our life was a lot more simple then, this dream still felt so far away. We thought this was a good field test to see if we could build a community to come share coffee.
We were still doing mobile events during this time which really reinforced how much we wanted to build a space for all of us.
We had less than 1% of the responsibilities or stress that we have now, but this was just a stepping stone, a very important one, I think it helped us build the resilience people need to own a business, and how to build our relationship to grow and form into something strong so we can handle owning a business together, and we are so grateful that we took it because it helped us get to the next stop.
