Starting in , try Rhodos Coffee & Bistro. Dale and the team roast small batches of high quality, ethically sourced beans. In Comox? Try their second location, Hangar 31 Cafe in Comox.
Heading south on the Island Hwy a few minutes and you'll find Royston Roasting Co.. Proprietors Jesse and Gavin have 12 signature blends to choose from including a "Half-Caf" called Split Decision that gives you just a bit of the buzz!
Jeremy Perkins and his two locations of French Press Coffee Roasters in and is up next. Their award winning coffee is worth a "shot"! Last year, their Ethiopia Kilenso Moconissa blend won a gold medal at Golden Bean North America, the largest coffee roasting competition in the world.
Drive south to Shawnigan Lake and you'll find Carlos Arias at Compass Mexican Bistro. They have a micro-roastery that is worth a look and a sip!
