* By now you may have noticed we've switched to a different pizza pan. These ones are manufactured in Mississauga, Ontario and therefore not subject to $8000 (eight thousand dollars) in tariffs, like the pans we've been using. Plus they bake the pizzas way better!
Yes our previous pans were originally made in Kitimat, BC until US/Canada Free Trade allowed the various foil packaging factories to share the load and each focus on a few product lines only. Our weirdo 'focaccia tray' was eventually only produced in New York State.
So now we are back to a Canadian-made pizza/pie pan that performs better and does not need to cross the border and be held up for whatever bullish supply chain reason :)
