Baking By Cookie I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself! For those that don’t know me, my name is Christine and I am the owner of Baking by Cookie.

Where did that name come from? Baking with my grandma! I don’t ever remember her calling me anything but Cookie! I’m a mom to two incredible boys and married to the most supportive man in the world! I’ve been in business for seven years. It all started when my family lived in Sudbury and I had a Christmas cookie exchange, I thought Gingerbread biscotti would be delicious! We moved to the Sault in 2011 and I became involved in the PTA at my boys school, planning and baking for events.

My menu includes over 15 flavors of soft biscotti‘s, not the traditional hard ones. I also make a variety of yummy scones, delicious cookies, huge stuffed cookies, assorted loaves, mini/baby bundt cakes and fudge! I love trying new recipes to add to my menu! I hope I get the opportunity to bake for you one day. Open for all occasions or no occasion at all!

🧡 What am I thankful for today? 🧡

I’m thankful that I DON’T have to turn my ovens on today! 😂🍪 After one CRAZY busy week, I think they deserve a little rest!

Just to give you an idea of what this week looked like:

🍪 2,642 individually wrapped cookies
🍪 50 cookie boxes
🥧 36 dozen pumpkin whoopie pies
🍪 41 cookie trays

I’d say we kept ourselves busy! 😅❤️

But seriously, when I think about what I’m truly thankful for, it’s my family, this beautiful weather, and the incredible support I receive from our local community. Every order, every share, every kind word, and every time you choose to support my little business means more than you know.

I’m also so thankful for my amazing friends who let me vent, listen when I need to talk, and are always there for me through the crazy, stressful, and emotional days. Sometimes you don’t need advice or solutions; you just need someone to listen, and I’m so lucky to have friends who do just that. ❤️🥰

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Baking by Cookie and allowing me to do what I love. I’m grateful for each and every one of you!

A HUGE thank you to Pancake Bay Provincial Park for carrying Baking by Cookie cookies at the campground this season! 🍪❤️

One of the most amazing parts of this partnership is knowing that people from all across Ontario come to camp at Pancake Provincial Park—and so many of them have now had the chance to try our cookies! 🏕️🍪

We are so grateful to be a small part of your camping adventures and to have our cookies travel home with you and hopefully bring a little taste of Sault Ste. Marie wherever you’re from.
