We know—it feels a little early to be talking Christmas. We’re still trying to remember where we put the Halloween decorations.

But holiday party dates at The Root are filling quickly. If you have a date in mind, don’t wait until your first-choice night is gone and you’re celebrating on a Tuesday in February. Book your party at The Root today!

We are hard at work resetting the base on 4 and 5 (and other small areas around the course). Our hope is that a new base will provide the proper growing environment that grass needs to come in and survive the summer heat with our water use restrictions.

This is a large investment into the course and for you our customer base.

I have made the decision to close the course after Thanksgiving Monday (October 12th). This will give us the time to try and recover the damages from this year and help the course be properly ready for the spring.

If you are out here during this final week, please be respectful of the work areas. Skip the hole and play an extra one somewhere else. Sacrifice now will do wonders for next season and beyond.

Thank you all for your love and patience during an incredibly hard summer. We look forward to seeing you at The Root all winter in the restaurant and can’t wait to see what spring holds for the course!

We are trying to recover the course from all the damage. Going out and driving circles in hydroseed that is staked and obvious is just stupidity. If you’re playing up here, have some respect.
