SUMMER HERB BURGER BOWLS
One of my favourite things about summer is how simple dinner can be. Fresh. Easy. Full of flavour.
Because food doesn’t need more rules.
It needs more joy!
INGREDIENTS
Turkey Burgers
• 1 lb lean ground turkey
• 2 garlic cloves, grated
• 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• Salt + pepper
Burger Sauce
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 garlic clove
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp Ideal Protein Maple Syrup
• 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
• Salt + pepper
Build Your Bowl
• Romaine
• Cucumber
• Radish
• Fresh herbs
• Grilled peppers
• Any Phase 1 vegetables you love
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix turkey, garlic, parsley, turmeric, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
2. Grill burgers until cooked through and lightly charred.
3. Add egg, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, IP maple syrup, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to a blender. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending until thick and creamy.
4. Fill a bowl with your favourite fresh vegetables, herbs, and grilled peppers.
5. Top with burger and a generous drizzle of burger sauce.
(Herbs I used: parsley, mint, and dill my usual!)
