💙 Community kindness in action! 💙

A huge thank you to the Grade 7/8 class at Holy Rosary School in Wyoming for choosing The Inn as part of their community outreach project.

These incredible students collected much-needed items for individuals experiencing displacement, including water bottles, socks, cereal, and canned goods with pop-top lids. They also raised an amazing $150 in cash donations to support our programs.

It is inspiring to see young people recognizing the needs within our community and taking action to help their neighbours. Their generosity, compassion, and commitment to making a difference remind us that kindness has no age limit.

Thank you, Holy Rosary Grade 7/8 class, for helping us continue to provide service with dignity to those who need it most. ❤️

Today's the day! Brooke and Amisha's charitable garage sale for The Inn is taking place at 1777 Modeland Rd. in Sarnia from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m!
Silent auction, lemonade stand, garage sale items, scarves and soap! Something for everyone!

Hey Sarnia 👋🏽

We just wanted to take a second to touch on something that it's near and dear to our hearts.
The Inn of the good Shepherd.

Every day, families in Sarnia-Lambton rely on The Inn of the Good Shepherd for basic necessities. Each month, the Inn helps more than 2,400 people, including 940 children, and distributes over 75,000 pounds of food to those facing food insecurity.

The need is growing. Food bank usage has increased by nearly 20% in recent years, while food donations have declined as rising costs affect everyone in our community.

For the entire month of June Dusty's Lawncare & Services will be holding a food drive!
It's Easy to take part. We'll do All the footwork! All we ask is that you take a second to go through your cupboards or pantries and find those non-perishable food items that may have been sitting there a little longer than planned, put them in a bag on your porch, text us with the address and the rest is up to us!
And if you have nothing to donate, no problem! Just take a second and like and share this post so we can get it seen by as many people as possible!!

Together, we can make a difference!!
